Victoria Activist Network Listserv
I've set up a listserv for people involved in local and nonviolent forms of environmental, social, or political activism -- especially letter-writers. The list is an electronic "bulletin board" for persons to post, share, and discuss letters they write or ideas they have for positive change. Since there are a lot of other places for discussion of ideas for positive local action (such as the Tribe), the list will function primarily as a form-letter forum.
Last week's posting (the first!) contained letters: to the Vic police about their treatment of Andrew Ansley and dumpster divers caught on tape; to Premier Campbell regarding tent city and the laws preventing sleeping in "public" spaces; and more.
